Yep, just what I was talking about a few posts back. During the past month there were some rumours of a Sonic & SEGA All-Stars racing sequel, while rumours are never officially confirmed, I have found that rumours about upcoming Sonic games generally prove to be true (especially on sites like TSSZ!). But, I’ll cut to the chase here…
Kotaku has got the news from a New York Toy Fair 2012 representitive that there IS infact going to be a sequel to the game, making it officially announced! It was announced to be released during the late 2012 Christmas holiday season, so we’ve got a little while to wait, but it was mentioned that there will be new content (obviously!) including new characters and vehicles. This is most likely SEGA’s solution to Mario Kart 7…I’m guessing it will be released on 3DS and maybe Wii U? It was rumoured to be released on those platforms and as the rumours of the games were right, I wouldn’t be surprised if the rumours of the platforms were accurate as well. Kotaku mentions that there are toys based on the game’s franchise on display at the New York Toy Fair, but no photos are available.
Of course, there’s be a lot more info revealed from this point onwards now that the game has been confirmed and I’ll post all info here as soon is it comes about!

BTW, I edited the original logo by adding the word “Sequel” there, it’s not actually the official logo for the sequel!
