News on Rayman Origins & 3DS update!

Ubisoft’s E3 presentation is over, and if you missed Rayman Origins in E3, don’t worry, you can watch it right here!

Cool hey? By the looks of things, it’s like a cartoony, awesome and better version of Super Mario Bros Wii, especially how in multiplayer you can turn into a bubble which automaticly makes you follow another player, don’t you think? Rayman Origins also has a brand new site, (though they still kept the blog) which you can check out here!

In other news, the update for the 3DS has arrived, to get it go to System settings > Other settings > Page 4 > System update. With the update you get an internet browser and the e-shop. With the e-shop you can buy games through DSi-ware, as well as old games like Super Mario Bros world. I’m not the biggest fan of Pokemon, but you can also get this thing called Pokedex for free, which allows you to view Pokemon and their stats, as well as trade them with friends. Personally, I brought the original Rayman game from the DSi-ware shop for $12.00!

Anyway, in a few days you’ll be able to buy Poptropica toys, no comment. Moving on…

Here’s a recent PCB post…

Introducing Creator Clips!

We’re thrilled to introduce a new feature in the Daily Pop: Creator Clips!

Creator Clips are original stories, jokes, pictures, and other fun stuff from some of the best writers, illustrators, and cartoonists around. In the weeks to come, you’ll find out:

  • The most embarrassing thing that ever happened to Rick Riordan, the author of Percy Jackson and the Olympians
  • The worst job that Jeff Kinney, author of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, ever had
  • The scariest thing that ever happened to Mary Pope Osborne, author of The Magic Tree House
  • Something that Lincoln Peirce, writer and artist of Big Nate, has never told anyone before
And much, much more! Check out Creator Clips now in the Daily Pop. A new entry will be posted every Monday.

CAPTAIN CRAWFISH

That’s all from me now.
